Multicultural Strategy Lead, Google Computer Science in Media

Daraiha Greene joined Google in October 2012 and currently leads the multicultural strategy for the Computer Science Education in Media team. She advocates for people of color, the LGBTQIA+ community, people with disabilities, and other underrepresented groups, as she strives to positively shift the narrative of computer science through mainstream media. Previously, she completed a three-month internship at Google before she accepted a full-time offer as a Human Resources rotational associate. Roles included a coordinator on the Finance HR team, program manager on the New Hire Orientation team, and an analyst on the Staffing Services team. Though currently residing in Los Angeles, Daraiha was born to two musicians in Boston, Massachusetts. She naturally developed a strong love for the performing arts, entertaining in many plays and musicals, and dancing since the age of 4! Daraiha graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. degree in Sociology and a minor in Theatre.
